Week scenarios

Practical-Creativity

A way to anticipate

There's a lot of value to get from keeping a journal. Writing everyday make our thoughts clearer and our mind focused, keep a reference for ourself in the future.

It's also a step back from being busy and take time doing something for purpose only.

I've realised something for the past few month that been very helpful else that is kind of related. Instead of reflecting on my day I'm writing a scenario for the next week.

Based on the information I have on my calendar, wish of the moment, thought, aspiration I can pretty much guess what going to happen, things to do.

Week scenarios don't have the benefit of the speed or efficiency, but they help to live the future week in terms of story. Telling a story put everything in another perspective.

I write each next seven days and put all the info I know together. I'm trying to connect each of them to an important goal of the week or the month. I have a clearer vision of what I missed or what not deserving to be there. Also I using some days for specific activities.

I keep always a note with all my tough for the week. Who I'm meeting, what I'm learning.

Once something is told as a story it's easier to remember, and to do because behind each action is easier with a reason.

It became part of my journaling and for now it works well.
